The New SM 620 SA mobile trommel screen available from January 2016

Screeners

Testing of the new SM 620 SA mobile trommel screen prototype has now been completed meaning that Doppstadt are ready to roll out the machine into full production from January this year.

The machine passed the acid test during the last couple of weeks. Some of the key features of this machine include the 7m³ capacity feeding hopper, which offers 40 % more usable volume compared to SM 620 Plus. Furthermore an optional hopper extension would increase the volume up to 9m³ capacity. The state of the art Deutz diesel engine TDC 3.6 L4 with 90 kW offers some extra power over the SM 620 Plus while fuel consumption remains low due to reduced RPM.

Technical data: Diesel engine
Length: 11.6 m
Working speed: 1,800
Width: 2.55 m
Rpm power at working speed: 85 kW (116 hp)
Height: 4.0 m
Fuel consumption: 6 to 9 l/h (1.6 to 2.4 gal/h)

The health and safety concept of the machine is adapted from SM 518 Plus. For example the contact-free door switches increase the operators´ safety. In addition, the machine would switch off automatically in the event of an unauthorized opening of one of the maintenance doors. Although the machine offers an enlarged feeding hopper as well as a 5.5m (18ft) long output conveyor, it is still a mobile and compact unit, easy to handle and transport.
