Blue Steals the Show at RWM

Blue again wowed visitors at this year’s RWM exhibition held at the NEC in Birmingham. The 430sqm double decker stand proved to be one of the show’s star attractions pulling in thousands of visitors over the three day event.

At this year’s exhibition, the Blue stand incorporated 6 pieces of equipment from across our portfolio. The Doppstadt Ceron 256 slow speed shredder was always going to turn heads when opened up to reveal its fearsome 3m steel shaft and 34 teeth. The BlueMAC All Metal Separator which extracts both ferrous and not ferrous material across a wide variety of applications also received plenty of attention, particularly from overseas distributors. BlueMAC were further represented in the form of a 7m long trommel which doubled up as the main access to the stand’s upper deck. Also featured on the stand was the instantly recognisable and highly impressive Fuchs MHL

250, showing off its spacious, sound-insulated full vision steel cab which can be raised hydraulically to a viewing level of 5.20m. The Westeria AirBasic Air Density Separator initially brought some confused looks from many of the visitors to the stand, however once the technology and benefits had been explained, it generated numerous enquiries. Last, but certainly not least, the Hartl brand was represented in the form of the HBC 950 crusher bucket featuring its H-Lock quick coupling system.

Overall it was an incredibly successful event for The Group. Not only did it provide an excellent opportunity to catch up with customers, but there was also numerous deals signed. Matt Scott from Blue London secured the sale of a Powerscreen jaw crusher. Chris Quinn, Conor McVeigh and Martyn Yarde all sold Doppstadt SM 620 screens to Trent Valley Skip Hire, CRJ and Cotswold Recycling Ltd respectively and three Fuchs Material Handlers were sold by the team at Blue Fuchs including a MHL 250 waste specification to A1 Super Skips in Lancaster.

Brian Maxwell, Blue Group Director commented. “Of all the events we attend as exhibitors, RWM is clearly the most significant, which is why we invest so heavily in our stand. The event allows us to showcase our unrivalled portfolio of world-leading equipment and for existing and potentially new customers to speak with our highly knowledgeable sales teams”

Blue have already booked their stand for next year, so make sure you put it in the diary – 13-15th September 2016.
