Blue Group is thrilled to announce that we are now a member of RoSPA

Other

As a company, Blue Machinery Group is committed to the safety of its workforce and as of December 2018, we have officially become a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), the UK’s leading safety organisation RoSPA was founded in 1916 and has thousands of members across a wide spectrum of disciplines.

RoSPA is a registered British charity that is committed to saving lives and preventing life changing injuries, which occur through accidents at home and the workplace. Blue Group are proud to share the same core values of RoSPA and as a Group we are dedicated to sharing their vision of ‘life, free from serious accidental injury.’

Being a part of this prestigious community allows us the opportunity to improve and implement the best practices into our business and gives us access to training previously unavailable to us, which we aim to utilise whilst on site with our customers.

As members of RoSPA, we have been allowed entry into the Occupational Health & Safety Awards 2019. Over the coming weeks, the Health and Safety Department will be required to complete an assessment of the Health and Safety performance of the whole company against RoSPA’s requirements. If successful, the company will then be awarded a specific safety standard.

Scot Martin, Blue Group’s Health and Safety Manager comments “We are delighted to become a member of RoSPA, as they are a highly respected organisation. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of safety, which will help us to achieve our goal of becoming the leader in Health and Safety in our sector.”
