Ecotec’s Phoenix 1600 & 1600T trommel screeners are engineered for outstanding fuel efficiency, low operating costs, and reduced emissions and noise, achieved through low engine RPM operation. Featuring a large 4.9m (16’) x 1.54m (5’) drum, the Phoenix 1600 delivers exceptional throughput across a wide range of materials including topsoil, compost, sand and gravel, woodchip, and C&D waste. Interchangeable woven mesh or heavy-duty punch plate panels ensure maximum versatility for any application. A 180° swivel fines conveyor with a 5.9m (19’4”) discharge height creates impressive stockpiles and can be remotely controlled during operation to minimise downtime. Powered by a Caterpillar C4.4 Tier 4 Final engine, the Phoenix 1600 benefits from powerful hydraulics, intelligent feed control, and a robust four-wheel drive friction system that allows bi-directional drum operation for optimal performance.
