Terex Ecotec TSS 390T

Ideal for heavy-duty volume reduction, Ecotec’s TSS 390T Portable Slow Speed Shredder tackles tough materials such as tree stumps, roots, green waste, C&D waste, waste wood, pallets, and rail ties. Its in-house–designed 3m heavy-duty steel shaft features replaceable bolt-on teeth and is hydrostatically driven, delivering full-speed, full-torque reverse and strong protection against contaminants. Customisable shredding programs help reduce wrapping, enhance shaft cleaning in demanding applications, and maximise throughput. Shredding is controlled against a hydraulically adjustable counter comb, which can be set for consistent product size or switched to release mode to let oversized contaminants pass through without stopping production. Engineered for fast access and minimal downtime, the TSS 390T features hydraulic chamber doors on both sides for simplified maintenance. The machine sets up quickly and is ready to shred within minutes, while its modular conveyor system allows each conveyor to be removed independently for streamlined servicing. Overall, the robust tracked design ensures reliable performance and mobility across challenging terrain.

Key features

  • Expertly designed in-house shredding chamber, featuring a 3m long shaft made from heavy duty steel with an AR lining and bolt on teeth.
  • Hydraulically adjusted counter comb allowing product size to be altered to requirements. Comb can be operated in fixed position for specific product size or release mode to allow contaminants to pass.
  • A powerful Scania engine with a low operating speed combined with an efficient hydrostatic drive creates a very responsive shredding action with protection against unshreddable contaminants and also offers full torque, full reverse.
  • Hydraulically operated access doors on both sides of the chamber for teeth replacement and servicing.
