Terex Ecotec TSS 390

Ecotec’s TSS 390 is a slow-speed shredder featuring a 3m heavy-duty steel shaft with replaceable bolt-on teeth, designed in-house for maximum durability. Its hydrostatic drive delivers full-speed, full-torque reverse and strong protection against contaminants. Customisable shredding programs let operators tailor performance, improve shaft cleaning in challenging materials, reduce wrapping, and optimise throughput. Shredding is controlled against a hydraulically adjustable counter comb for precise product sizing. Powered by an efficient 493HP Scania DC13 engine, the TSS 390 provides excellent service access with hydraulically operated chamber doors on both sides. Its modular conveyors can be quickly removed to minimise maintenance downtime, and the machine can be set up and ready to shred within minutes. The tri-axle, 5th-wheel wheeled unit—fully approved under European Whole Vehicle Type Approval—ensures easy, unrestricted transport between sites for maximum uptime.
