Responding to customer feedback, the Morbark 3400X and 3400XT Wood Hog has been designed to deliver the features and versatility customers need while maintaining their proven technology. Notably, the 3400X can be configured to a narrow width of just 2.53m, ensuring compliance with legal transport regulations in any country regardless of engine type. With 800 horsepower, it is suited for a wide range of applications across global markets. Additionally, like all Morbark Wood Hog models, the 3400X offers an electric power option. Its adaptable size allows it to be tailored for diverse applications without requiring additional design changes.
Key features
- Sloped infeed sides give the operator improved visibility and loading efficiency.
- The Morbark Integrated Control Systems automatically adjusts feed rates and monitors pressures and feed wheel position to maximize production and engine efficiency.
- Removable infeed chain return floor, which allows excess material to fall away to minimize the wear on the floor, bed chain and inserts, is particularly useful in land‑clearing or other applications with dirty material.
- Externally adjustable break-away torque limiter protects the driveline and hammermill from catastrophic damage.
