Description
The Morbark 2755 Flail Chiparvestor is built for your toughest jobs, offering three or four knife chipper disc options with a 6858mm chipping diameter and a lift capacity of 7,800 kg at 3.05m. Customisable features include an ESPAR heating system for cold weather starts, a discharge spout extension for loading open vans or rail cars, a debris plow option in place of the telescoping conveyor, and remote control. The enclosed, weatherised operator’s cab, mounted on rubber shock absorbers, tilts hydraulically for transport and includes a combination air conditioner/heater, a six-way adjustable seat, and joystick controls.
Key features
- Flail drive is a closed-loop hydraulic design with separate hydraulic systems to operate each flail drum. Each system is complete with electric tach and controls in operator’s cab.
- Each disc is fabricated from plate steel and put through ultrasonic testing. Material certification is issued for each disc, which provides the best chipper disc in the industry.
- Morbark Integrated Control System monitors hydraulic pressures, temperatures, and engine parameters; controls auto-reversing fan functions and feed functions; and allows utilisation of remote diagnostic system.
- Mor-Lift Model 500 Knuckleboom Loader has 23' reach, 270-degree swing and 17,200 lb lift at 10'.
