The role of the parts advisor is to work alongside the service control team who are committed to providing a fantastic customer experience and are able to offer a professional service to Blue Central customers. Your daily duties will include dealing with incoming parts enquires from controllers expediting them, managing backorders, ordering parts from suppliers, utilising online platforms and our SAP internal business system to ensure that parts are provided on time to meet business and customer needs. Ideally for this role you will have Parts Experience or a mechanical mind from a similar role within the construction or agricultural equipment dealer industry, a high level of accuracy and commitment to the customer often going above and beyond. Tasked with parts through service revenue growth and building relationships over the telephone, this role will accountable for ensuring parts are right first time, on time.


Responsibilities

  • Teamwork: Work closely with Service Control and engineers to ensure the correct parts are sent to repair & service jobs in expected time frames. Provide cover for colleagues during absences.
  • Customer Service: Manage part sales enquiries from control team including having a good technical knowledge to identify and supply the correct parts. React quickly to internal customer demands and order parts in emergency breakdown situations from suppliers.
  • Expedite Parts : Chase backorder parts either internally or directly with the supplier to ensure customer service levels are maintained. Place orders with suppliers, book in deliveries & follow up on shortages supplied to engineers.
  • Quoting: Provide quotes for parts in a timely manner to service control to support the growth of the parts through service business.
  • Process: Ensure all process are adhered to enable consistency and the correct data is added to business systems
  • CRM management: Maintain accurate account details and machine population within database to aid marketing initiatives
  • Company Champion : Promote all aspects of Blue; from machines to customer service agreements etc
  • Market Intelligence: Report any new competitive market intelligence that may be realised during any customer interaction.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure that you engage and comply with company H&S policies.

Performance Measures

  • OEM stock order ratio targets (Develon report)
  • Develop strong relationships with internal customers
  • Achieve internal parts through service objective

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Office based role, working hour 08:30-17:00
  • You may be required to work as per the departmental rota, between the hours of 7.00am and 17.30pm and weekends

  • Sound knowledge of Blue Central business and supporting tools
  • PC literate with a strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong Knowledge of Blue Central Franchised Products
